Is it "Google.com" or "Gogle.com" ?

Do you know spelling of Google ?

sorry, for asking this question but what can i do for that? I recently found that Google is also spelled gogle! Google is fast growing company on internet world and of course it is the biggest search engine of the world! so, you know very well that!  whenever you go to search something in internet browser like internet explorer, Google chrome( fastest ever browser) or mozilla firefox, you write "www.google.com" ! but did you ever try "www.gogle.com"?

Yes, that is also website of google.com. anyone who visits Gogle.com whether he/she has typed 'Gogle' or 'Gogle.com' correctly or wrongly, his or her original intention is to look for Google.com. Well Google has also bought that domain for just because of our mistake of typing? may be that is the reason. Now whenver you make mistake of spelling of google intstead of Google, than don't worry for that you will be redirected to Google.com!

It doesn't mean that every time you make mistake and change spelling of google! so, that is the fact and twitted when i made that mistake! so, remember spelling of Google!

What Do You Know About Google Wonder Wheel?

You know Google as search engine! And Google is not just making you to find only search result as you write and result is in your eyes! Yes, there is not so simple for Google as taking it as only one search engine.

Google is involving more and more tools to make your search most nearable as you are finding for. But Do you know about that tools! Yes what I am talking about is "Google Wonder Wheel". This tool in not new. But Did you ever use that? NO, I am probably sure. Because Google is not giving their publicity on any tools. So, You have to know what Google is going to publish as tool for you.

On May 2009 Google released a new feature called “Google Wonder Wheel” . Google Wonder Wheel is a wheel (of wonder) which shows related search terms to the current searched query and thus enable you to explore relevant search terms which might be the ones you originally wanted to search for, or simply give you more options to gain more information.

The wheel shaped like tool, with the simple aim of simplifying and arranging search results, is gaining popularity among users worldwide (where available) and reached 1 million google wonder wheels.

The wheel was first introduced publicly in May and became a favorable feature to many due to the layout and result display which basically get the work done for the user as far as relevant and related search results go. The fact that it’s a pre defined mind mapper which helps the user get all the related search results in a wheel shaped like display (similar to mind mapping softwares which are commonly used by many), gave users another reason to use it in addition to the features already provided by search engine giant Google.

More Relevant Results From The Same Website in Which You Want!

Google is too big and great search engine ever you have seen. It has also some great services that make your search to narrow what you want. I have discussed about Google's new service about Instant Search that save your time and good searchable to your search results. Now I am going to talk about it's tool that make your search narrow by your website.

When you get back from the store and hop online to do some searching, you’re visiting a different kind of place—a website. Sometimes it turns out that one website is extremely likely to have the information you’re looking for, like when you’ve typed a website name as part of your search, or you’re looking for information from an official government office.

To help you find this information more quickly, a few months ago we made a change to show more results from a particular domain when we’re confident that those results are likely to be most useful to you. This week we expanded the feature to include more queries and to show additional results (up to four) from the same website.

So, this will make your search result in your one particular website that is great for users who want to know about that particular site.

Is Google Making Robotic Car?: And Driven 225,000km by itself

Robotic Car Of Google

Mulit-billion-dollar international technology company, Google, has been secretly working away on developing robotic cars capable of driving themselves. As Google is only for internet before we know this. You know all about Google that Google was developed for only internet. But now it is launching too many projects and services by the great stuff. I don't know what has Google in it's mind? Before some time as I published my previous article describing new function on maps. But Now I am talking about Google is going to make  business?

However Google was working on this project for last year. But as this was secret that was no information has been leaked by Google. But now Google is giving some information about its project. Google is releasing information what the company has been up to in the last year or so and where it’s currently at.

Published on it's Blog  Google has revealed it has not only begun to forge the way in robotic car development, but it’s already driven a small fleet of automated Toyota Prius’ around parts of California for a total of 225,000km on public roads. The interesting thing is most of us weren’t even aware it was happening.

Here I will going to show one video that is published on YouTube. This video was published before I think one year. And for that Google has said that that is only for google images and for maps. But now it is seen that it is completely robotic car that was made  by technicians of Google.

Actually Google has made this car as technology to help people to stop accident and manage traffic. There is great thought of Google. As It's for Google images, maps, And other hand it's also for to help people to prevent accident.Google also says that this technology has the potential to cut road-related fatalities by as much as half if it were applied to the infrastructure.

Before seeing look what Google says about it's Robotic car and about it's thoughts on it's innovative ideas.

"Larry and Sergey founded Google because they wanted to help solve really big problems using technology. And one of the big problems we’re working on today is car safety and efficiency. our automated cars use video cameras, radar sensors and a laser range finder to “see” other traffic, as well as detailed maps (which we collect using manually driven vehicles) to navigate the road ahead. This is all made possible by Google’s data centers, which can process the enormous amounts of information gathered by our cars when mapping their terrain."

that's straight means you can see that Google is going to make all latest technology with it's services and make it different and the best for ever. and Also it's straight profit is to people like us on the road as robotic car to prevent Accident.

"We’ve always been optimistic about technology’s ability to advance society, which is why we have pushed so hard to improve the capabilities of self-driving cars beyond where they are today. While this project is very much in the experimental stage, it provides a glimpse of what transportation might look like in the future thanks to advanced computer science. And that future is very exciting."

I don't have to say anything about how google is thinking as all part of it's business and make good interact with users of it. Indirectly it is making it's position to people who is not using internet. Before some time people who don't use Internet they didn't know anything about Google but new service launching of Google as making it to diiferent all have to know about GOogle.!

Now Check Out this video of robotic car by Google:

Google uses its own Chrome to optimize slower sites !!

Chrome logo
Google Chrome as we know !
Google plans to use Google Chrome as a tool to optimize the Web by encouraging use of a technology the company says will reduce data-transfer delays.
and will make it better faster in few days !!

There is a technology, called False Start, has the potential to reduce one round of back-and-forth communications between a browser and a Web server when establishing an encrypted connection. That's a pretty significant time savings--about 7/100 of a second for communication across the United States and 1.5 tenths of a second from California to                 Europe

"We are aware that this change will cause issues with about 0.05 percent of Web sites on the Internet," Langley said in a blog post.
That may not sound like a lot, but according to NetCraft's measurements, there were 227 million Web sites in September. Proportionally, the problem is small, but in absolute terms False Start wouldn't work with about 114,000 sites by NetCraft's tally.

Google new service always: New WebP Image Format Could Send JPEG Packing

Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) is always growing new tech and generation service comes to people! Google always tries to make with new generation. As I have talked more about new service before in some articles that has link in last of this post. check it out after reading this article.

Now I will talk about new service of google launched. We can't say actually new service but of course it's change in its property. Now come to the point.  Google has introduced an image format that cuts down file size by 40 percent, compared to the JPEG format, speeding page loading and reducing storage requirements. Still, there are barriers to adoption, not the least of which could be a lack of perceived need. "The challenge is that the market thinks JPEG is good enough," said tech analyst Rob Enderle.

what does that means ? that straight means is that uploading speed of images will be more than ever.

Till now there are format like this : JPEG
                                                                         PNG
                                                                        GIF
                                                                        BITMAP

And now new google's new format "WEBP" !

this is only fot to increase the speed of performance of website. WebP (pronounced "weppy") reduces the file size of images by 40 percent, the company claims. In most of website there is 65% of images transmitted to internet, according to google. so,  It takes more time. WebP was designed to improve the compression offered by the widely used lossy JPEG format. The result is the lossy WebP.

And google has also created a website for WEB developers and users to access the new format of image WebP format. The images presented at the site show WebP side-by-side with JPEG images. The WebP images are 40 to 50 percent trimmer in bytes but look the same to the human eye. The comparisons were selected by Google, so it's impossible to tell whether all images will resolve at equivalent quality to the larger JPEG images.

HOW DOES IT WORKS?

IT's based on open source VP8.To trim down file size for WebP, Google used an image compressor based on the VP8 codec that Google open-sourced in May 2010. Google tested the VP8 format by randomly picking about a million images from the Web. In that mostly it were  JPEGs, plus some PNGs and GIFs --and re-encoding them to WebP. And so, the result was, reduction in file size of around 39 percent of course without perceptively compromising visual quality, according to Google.

And after that Google is also releasing a conversion tool that allows developers  and users to convert images to the WebP format.

NOW ONE QUESTION IS WILL DEVELOPERS SWITCH TO THIS INNOVATIVE IDEA OF GOOGLE?

google WebP format

The success of WebP depends on developer community's willingness to switch to from the ubiquitous JPEG.

Now original talk:

"Google is a force of nature on the Internet. If ever there was a company that could drive Internet standards, it's Google," Rob Enderle, principal analyst of the Enderle Group, told TechNewsWorld. "The only one in their vicinity is Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT), and Microsoft is not a major power in organizing and delivering images. The challenge is that the market thinks JPEG is good enough," said Enderle. "Google hasn't really done much to get people to move off something they really embrace. Gmail is probably the exception. Google has the breadth and stature to do it, but do they have the skillset to move people off of something they like?"

so, now when this type of technology is going down in internet, this type of new technology of google will make it up of speed. You also know in this generation how importance speed  is!

new service by google: Gmail threading a choice

GOOGlE! what do you think about Google ? this is the most profitable website and business in WEB area. Now I will not talk about it’s growing topic.

Which E-mail account is using you? If you are not using Gmail (Google) than you are doing big mistake. Yes, that's right. Now a days most problem on E-mail account is
To managing e-mail. Google is launching new service for Gmail. Google is addressing one of the biggest complaints new Gmail users have about the service: it's giving users a way to turn off threaded messages.

So, google is planning to letting start users toogle between Gmail's threaded "conversation" view which groups messages with the same subject in the in-box and an old-school in box style in which incoming e-mails are displayed in the order they were received.

And yes this service is for regular free users and also for  corporate google application users.

GOoGle has created G-mail as just for E-mail Account but as new technology and new science of WWW and WEB in computer science it  has changed some options and service provided in G-mail account.
Google has already given one option in gmail said “classic” option for unthreaded messages.

Now you will ask this type of questions:

How to turn off gmail threading?

is there a way to unthread a "conversation"?

Google testing higher-quality video chat in Gmail

Google has added a new option in the labs section of Gmail that lets users pump up the quality in video chats.
The new setting, dubbed "video chat enhancements," ups not only the size of the video chat window, but its resolution too. The difference in size between the old and the new is considerable, both in the window of the person you're talking to, and the preview of your Webcam that appears in the bottom right-hand corner.
Here's a before and after:

Here also is a taste of the difference in the quality, courtesy of Google:

A before and after of Google's video chat(Credit: Google)
Besides Gmail, the enhanced video chat feature works in iGoogle and Orkut.
In its blog post announcing the feature, Google says that the enhanced version of the chat "frees up valuable resources on your computer" during conversations. It does this by making use of hardware-accelerated video decoding to take some of the work off a user's computer processor--the same thing Adobe's been baking into the latest versions of its Flash video player.
In a chat with CNET, Christopher Vander Mey, a senior product manager at Google said that the decoding itself is still software based, though the new version uses hardware acceleration for the rendering. "We use a form of H.264 codec called scalable video coding (SVC)," he said. "Instead of sending a single image for each frame, it sends layers of images. So a single picture is composed of four lower quality images composited together to make a high-quality image." Vander Mey explained that this technique results in a very good looking video that can adjust more gracefully depending on the user's bandwidth.
On that note, the newer version of the video chat technology can take better advantage of a user's connection to push video all the way up to 640x480 (VGA) resolution. "It will work pretty well from 256 kilobits per second up to 1 megabyte per second," Vander Mey said. "We were going up to 500kb in the previous version." That extra bandwidth and aforementioned codec change are the two things that have made the higher-resolution video possible.
Vander Mey also echoed a similar statement to Gmail's product manager, Todd Jackson, who last January told CNET that the video architecture was capable of HD video, though mostly dependent on bandwidth speeds going up. "We want to see higher and higher resolutions available," Vander Mey said.
In May, Google acquired Global IP Solutions for $68.2 million for its Internet telephony and videoconferencing efforts, though Vander Mey said that the enhanced version of the video chat was not using any specific technologies from that pick-up. "The Google plug-in API that enables this to work is some software from our O3D project on code.google.com." Google launched O3D early last year in a bid to beef up what Web apps could do by making use of local hardware. "That enables us to provide much higher quality," said Vander Mey.
For Linux users, the higher-quality video is currently the default; otherwise, using the new feature requires that both parties have it enabled from within Gmail's labs settings, though according to Vander Mey it won't be that way forever. "Ultimately this will be available to all our customers as the default," he said.

(Credit: TomTom)
There are a lot of good reasons that GPS manufacturers have given for sticking with resistive touch-screen technology for their devices, despite the fact that most smartphone manufacturers have made the jump to capacitive. The most common reason is the ability to use the unit in a cold car while wearing gloves. Lately, we've been seeing a wave of capacitive-screened portable navigation devices, offering the advantages of multitouch and requiring less pressing force to register an input. The latest is the new European-market TomTom GO Live 1000 series.
The 4.3-inch TomTom GO Live 1000 brings with it a new interface dubbed "Fluid Touch" that should take advantage of the capacitive screen to make the maps and menus easier to navigate. Under the skin, basing the 1000's new OS on WebKit allows TomTom to join the app store craze by making it possible to install functionality enhancing applications and easier to develop such apps.
The moniker GO Live means that the 1000 also features connectivity to TomTom's Live data service (first seen on the TomTom GO Live 740) and the HD Traffic updates, weather forecasts, speed and traffic camera locations, flight information, and Google Local Search that it brings. One year of TomTom Live is included in the purchase price.
A second TomTom GO Live 1005 model will be added to the lineup within the month, bringing with it a larger 5-inch display. Both units will feature a new suction cup mount with a magnetic cradle that enables one-handed placement and removal of the PND upon entering or exiting the vehicle.
The TomTom GO Live 1000 and 1005 have only been officially announced for the European market, but like the TomTom Start/Ease of last year, we're sure that we'll see some sort of North American announcement soon.

Google snaps up user-generated video startup

Google's buying spree continued Monday with its purchase of Quicksee, a company blending home videos with geolocation services.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported the deal would cost Google around $10 million. Quicksee allows users to upload videos they have shot of buildings or public places and tag them on Quicksee's site so that others can watch a video walkthrough of the area shot on tap layered over a Google Maps implementation.
It's a natural fit for a number of Google projects, including Street View and business listings within Google Maps, and Quicksee's founders confirmed they will be joining Google's Geo team following the completion of the deal. The prospect of putting video inside Street View will undoubtedly raise eyebrows among privacy advocates, although allowing businesses, hotels, or real-estate agents to easily upload video of their private buildings could be a pretty easy win for Google's local-business listing services.
Google continues to purchase companies at a dizzying rate, although most of its purchases of late have focused on either social-media or search. Quicksee is the second company out of Israel that Google has purchased this year, following LabPixies in April, Haaretz said.

Google launches Family Safety Center

Google has launched a new resource for parents to help them keep their kids safe while surfing the Internet, the company announced on Friday.
The Family Safety Center provides tips from child-safety experts on keeping kids away from adult content on the Web and on how to ensure kids aren't contacted and lured by an adult online. Google has also included a page detailing its own child-protection services on its many products, including SafeSearch and YouTube's Safety Mode.
The Partners page is also useful in that it includes links and brief information on the many organizations that provide "resources and advice on cyberbullying, child protection, and online education both for parents and children." Organizations like Family Online Safety Institute, NetSmartz411, and ConnectSafely are included in the listings.
"With kids growing up in an age where digital know-how is essential, it's increasingly important to ensure that they're developing healthy, safe and responsible online habits," Google wrote in a blog post. "And we're thinking every day about how we can help parents and teachers to do just that."
